Resolved Question: Why do older homes cost the same as new ones?

I've noticed almost every single older home (20-30yrs) costs roughly the same as those built just 2 years ago. Same sq. footage, # bedrooms, etc. Why is this the case? Shouldn't older homes cost less because they're likely to need repairs/renovations? Otherwise, why wouldn't I just simply pay the same price for a newer home?... Read More »
